US State of Idaho

Idaho is a state located in the north-western United States. The U.S. postal abbreviation for Idaho is ID. 

Idaho is one of the Rocky Mountain states; it is bordered by Montana and Wyoming (E), Utah and Nevada (S), Oregon and Washington (W).  Idaho also borders the Canadian province of British Columbia (N).

The Idaho state capital and largest city is Boise; other cities of importance are Pocatello and Idaho Falls.

Idaho Time Zone

The Southern part of Idaho (except Panhandle and Clearwater Regions) fall in the Mountain Time Zone, which is 7 hours behind Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), while the Northern part of Idaho (Panhandle and Clearwater Regions) fall in the Pacific Time Zone, which is 8 hours behind GMT.
